Roof Damage Due to Storm
We received a call from a customer who had a tree fall on her roof several months earlier. The roof had not sustained visible damage and she had not taken any steps to have it inspected further, assuming there were no problems. Though not visible from afar the roof was in fact leaking in several spots and the trusses in the attic had sustained water and now mold damage over time. The homeowner had noticed small patches of mold on her ceiling and called us to inspect the area. Our team opened up some areas of drywall and determined there was in fact sufficient mold damage. We carefully cleaned and sanitized the affected area while removing compromised drywall. The customer was thankful that the problem did not get any worse and learned a valuable lesson to always have a professional inspect after an incident, even if there is not visible damage.
